Technology "Goon Squad" Mike McGinley, Dan Benyamin, Noah Brier, and Todd Krieger

Consultants to the stars and to world-class companies share their knowledge with students enrolled in MGMT195 Introduction to the Entertainment Business and MGMT 403/403 Entertainment Principles I and II. UM Alum, Mike McGinley founded SRO Consultants. His firm provides a wide range of business strategy and management services to the entertainment and music industries. His client list includes Best Buy, Facebook, DirecTV, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Nine-Inch Nails, Paul McCartney and Tony Hawk, to name but a few. With the help of his partner, Dan Benyamin, Mike has positioned SRO at the cross-roads of media and technology. Mike and Dan were also joined in the classroom by Todd Krieger and Noah Brier. Todd is the Senior VP for Denou, a boutique firm within the umbrella of Publicis Groupe, the world’s second largest media strategy and buying group. Noah is a strategist at Naked Communications, the world's leading provider of creative solutions to communications problems. The four speakers spent the weekend discussing a wide range of topics ranging from the architecture of the internet to the future of business, particularly the entertainment business.
